Ragamuffin Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit. When we made Brennan, which was funded entirely through donations, one of our donors said they would have been able to contribute more if we had a non-profit.
A few months later, a friend of the ministry wanted to give a sum of money. We told them to hold off until we formed a non-profit entity. Instead of holding off, he paid for all of the expenses himself to set-up the non-profit.
Our Mission Statement: “Preach the gospel always; if necessary, use words.” - St. Francis of Assisi
We have three primary focuses of ministry.
1. Movies. We preach the gospel through movies. Movies are, by definition, visual storytelling. We have dedicated a large portion of our lives to the study and practice of storytelling. Jesus and Francis were also storytellers, as they knew and taught us that storytelling was one of the most effective ways to implant the truth of God’s love into your listeners heart. Checkout all our movies at ColorGreenFilms.com.
2. Meetings. We have been hosting retreats since Fall 2014, and will continue to do so. But we have a heart to be a church for the churchless. We are seeking to build more opportunities to connect the disconnected—both tangibly and digitally. Stay tuned.

3. Matthew 25. We currently make movies to fund ministries. Our next movie profits are solely dedicated to fund a Native American ministry run by Lloyd Mullins and David McCoy, which you can learn more about here: napenasi.com
*We plan on continuing to fund ministries that are the hands and feet of Christ, along with building our own outlets to love and serve the poor, perishing, and imprisoned.
Of course, these three don’t encapsulate all we do at Ragamuffin Ministries, but these are our three primary areas of focus. We also support other ministries, send out speakers and artists for events, provide storytelling services, and production support for kingdom needs.
